What you will find here

Each film covers something we are asked about regularly. You will get a sense of how we welcome new residents to Somerforde, and the care we take to make that transition feel gentle and unhurried. Charge for Care

We base our fees on the level of care someone actually needs, not the size of their room. If a resident is largely independent, they simply won’t be charged for care they don’t use. It’s a clear, honest way to work out the cost of care in Newton Abbot.

Real Food, Made with Care

Every meal at Somerforde is cooked fresh on site by our own kitchen team, not bought in or mass produced. If someone fancies a bacon sandwich at 4am instead of dinner at dinner time, that’s fine too. Food here is about comfort, choice and treating people like family.
